In your mind, what makes something a great beach book? We have a mix of people who live here in the summer and tourists who pass through. My favorite activity is to swim. I can remember going to the beach with my family and my parents slowly dipping me into the water to get me used to the feeling.

Instead, I found myself wanting to be comfortable showing my skin. I worried about my body being visible, because I have surgical scars running up and down my legs.
